rekindle the fire

ha this year has been an interesting year..

actually it feels like 2 yrs, cos of school. so 2008 has been split into 4 parts for me.. haa.. yr1 sem2, long hols, yr2 sem 1, short hols.. but within these 4 segments it's been filled with soo many different things that are new. like working with someone from a different country, leading her to Christ, staying in hall, and not staying in hall, acting in a play [tho the role wasnt huge..], dancing, sprinting around sentosa, etc.. God's really trying to stretch me in many areas.. and as i look back, i realise how much He's stretched me. putting me up against new challenges..

today was Christmasquerade.. we danced for it. it was my first time performing after 2 yrs.. and once again the performance adrenaline hit me.. haha.. i really miss that kinda feeling. be it acting or dancing. the immersion of the being into the character and/or choreo.. it's. shiokanathanpangsaiheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! haha tho 2nd part of the finale i forceful until i prob shook the steps outta my head.. hehhh...

tmw we're performing at some church in buona vista and katong. it's inevitably scary la.. i mean, seriously.. haha.. but it's also extremely egggggy!! haha.. it's the. God gimme strength. OH it started. shoooots i messed up.. ok nvm.. EHHH ended????!!!! feeling..

pk, jlow and hui came! :D love~ and hui got "banned" from leaving the country. which i found unavoidably hilarious albeit frustrated on her behalf. like, how come nobody told them that their passports were expiring in 6months' time???? funny la!!!! anw the 3 of them left to go and watch estee's play.. im sure it was greaaaaattt!!!!!! estee teo the "confused mum-to-be". heehee. (: wish i was there!!! 

anw i finaly googled and youtubed and legendary Meredith Kerr. WAHLAUUUU EHHHHHH... she is. damn. HOT. she is supax gooooood la!!!!!!!!! during her dance-off with rayvin i was like, MAN who is this hot girl who shares the same name as me?? then rayvin told me she danced/dances for the Pussycat Dolls. like COME ON..... theyre my all-time hot stuff la. tho i know nuts about them.. but i just am in love with their "when i grow up" video.. i mean, skeeriously!!!

then i chanced upon this ex-cedarian's blog about her. she was an NRA dancer and attended a hiphop workshop by her.. and just last nite, as tired as we were, we went for the nra dance concert.. it was really good.. the styles and all were really cool. but the 1st 2 items i nearly got blinded by the MULTITUDE of people on stage la.. TOO MANY PEOPLE YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! take a chillpill!!!!!! many ants!!!!!!!

anw in any case, it was in its entirety very inspiring. (:

i still do love drums. oh, 7 Dec was my 4th year of learning drums.. wow.. so i'm into my fifth year i dont believe it. i definitely dont sound like i've been learning for 4 yrs.. shootss. it's the lack of practice i tell you.... :(

anw i cant wait for tmw. but i can wait for tmw. u know wat i mean?? haha.. but i will miss the dance practices!!

anw today i nv felt the urge sooooo strong to just open my big fat mouth [which is no longer painful from wisdom teeth bursting thru my gums] and ask, "hey can we take a picture tgd?" but. NOOOOoooOOOOOoooOoooOoOO. i didnt ask. i had so many chances. it was the. NOW! nahh.. maybe not. so many ppl.. NNOOWW!!!!! aiya, nvm la. NOW! nahhh.. dilema.. but NOOOOO i didnt in the end. great. christmas again? probably....

i just have to, stop it. but i dont want to. i cant.
